<note>This research was motivated by the low learning motivation of students in
accounting lessons. This research aims to describe the learning model,
measure the difference in the increase in learning motivation of experimental
class and control class students and measure the increase in motivation to
learn accounting by implementing the think pair share type cooperative
learning model assisted by paired card media. This research uses a Quasi
Experimental method with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design which
consists of an experimental class that uses a think pair share type cooperative
learning model assisted by paired card media and a control class that uses
conventional learning. The control class consisted of 25 people and the
experimental class consisted of 28 people. The instrument for this research is
an observation sheet to measure the implementation of the think pair share
type cooperative learning model with the help of paired cards and a
questionnaire to measure students' learning motivation. The sampling
technique used in this research is a saturated sample, which means that all
members of the population were sampled. The data analysis technique with
parametric statistics uses the SPSS 21 software application. The results of the
research show that 1) The implementation of the think-paor share type
cooperative learning model assisted by paired card media to increase
students' learning motivation can be carried out well. 2) There is a difference
in increasing the learning motivation of experimental class students using the
think pair share type cooperative learning model assisted by paired card
media and the control class using conventional learning. 3) There is an
increase in student learning motivation after implementing the think pair
share type cooperative learning model assisted by paired card media</note>
