In meeting the inventory needs required coordinated handling. PT. Istana Bandung Raya
Motor (IBRM) is a company engaged in services and focuses on the automotive sector.
This company is an official Honda main dealer in Bandung, which provides after-sales
services in the form of repair services and sales of genuine Honda car parts. However,
in terms of inventory handling, there is often a shortage of spare parts inventory for
certain slow moving goods, this condition can result in losses for dealers due to lost
consumers and hampers the productivity of vehicle repair and maintenance. So the
service time is not reached. Through the phenomenon of improving service time. There
are problems with inventory where there are spare parts that are not fulfilled. In the spare
parts division, there are categories of fast moving, middle moving, slow moving, dead
stock spare parts. In the process of handling spare parts in this problem, the type of data
for HR-V slow moving vehicle parts is 32 items. Processed with the ABC method of the
32 item data, there are 3 categories. Spare parts category A 12 items, category B 8 items
and C 12 items. The results of the ABC method are taken in category A 12 items because
they are taken from the data with the highest number of items and the largest cost. From
the results of the calculation of the EOI (Economic Order Interval) method, it is known
that the optimum ordering time interval is 44 days, with a minimum total cost of inventory
that must be issued by the company amounting to Rp.620.191.543,12,-. While the
calculation of the total cost for spare parts inventory issued by the company per year is
Rp.674.147.047,32.
