<note>The purpose of this study was to determine the condition of product quality
and price on purchasing decisions on Maybelline's The Hyper Curl mascara
product. And to find out how much influence product quality has on purchasing
decisions, the effect of price on purchasing decisions, and the effect of product
quality and price on purchasing decisions. In this study, the independent variable
(X) is product quality and price, while the dependent variable (Y) is Purchase
Decision. Purchasing decisions for companies are very important because to get
customers in business conditions that are getting more and more competitors.
Therefore, product quality and price have an effect on purchasing decisions, when
these two things are good, and vice versa.
This study is a sample study and consumers are respondents in the study, to
collect data using a questionnaire with a total of 100 respondents consisting of
consumers of Wardah Face Masks in Bandung. The analytical method used is the
quantitative method with descriptive and verification analysis. To process the data,
the author uses the help of Microsoft Excel 2019 and SPSS 25 For Windows. The
results of the study stated that the product quality was in the fairly good category,
the price was in the good category, and purchasing decisions were in the good
category. The results of the T-test show that product quality affects purchasing
decisions, price affects purchasing decisions. The results of the F test show that
product quality and price simultaneously affect purchasing decisions. Companies
should pay more attention to product quality and price simultaneously. Because,
these two variables have an important role in purchasing decisions.</note>
